Release

The latest version of SFLphone is 1.3.0, released on January 14th 2014.

Ubuntu PPA

The latest version is known to be compatible on Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty), Ubuntu 13.10 (Saucy), Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring), Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal), Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise), Debian and Linux Mint.

Run:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:savoirfairelinux

Or add the following repositories in your sources list to install SFLphone stable version:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/savoirfairelinux/ppa/ubuntu YOUR_UBUNTU_VERSION_HERE main 
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/savoirfairelinux/ppa/ubuntu YOUR_UBUNTU_VERSION_HERE main

And run:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install sflphone-client-gnome
or
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install sflphone-client-kde

By default, when installing the Gnome client, the Evolution/Gnome addressbook support is not installed. To do so, install the following package:

sudo apt-get install sflphone-plugins

Fedora

To install packages for Fedora 19 and Fedora 20:

sudo yum install https://yum.savoirfairelinux.com/sflphone/f20/RPMS/x86_64/sflphone-relea...
sudo yum install sflphone-gnome
sudo yum install sflphone-plugins

or

sudo yum install sflphone-kde 

openSUSE

To install packages for openSUSE (note: these are unofficial packages) visit:

http://software.opensuse.org/package/sflphone

and select the appropriate package for your distribution.
